Facing a difficult choice?
Make a list of your options (e.g., “do X,” “do Y,” etc.)
Add an option: “Delay the choice.”
Choose the option least likely to cause future regret.
Some options are…
…easy to try and then abandon.
…totally irreversible!!!
…risky in a fun way!
…risky in a danger way!!
…prudent and wise, upon examination.
…something you’ll always wonder about if you don’t try it.
And sometimes you just have to wait until the situation ripens… until it’s the last responsible moment to make the choice.
